Alex Charles is a singer and saxophonist whose soulful, soaring vocals, unforgettable melodies, and electrifying saxophone performances leave audiences genuinely moved. Blending heart, sophistication, and high energy, Alex delivers a sound that is both timeless and unmistakably modern.

Originally from New Jersey, Alex began his musical journey studying under Juilliard master woodwind player Stephen Hart, while simultaneously starring in school theater productions and fronting his own rock band on vocals and saxophone. He later honed his artistry at Berklee College of Music, where he studied Contemporary Writing and Production before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue a career at the highest level of the music industry.

A prolific and accomplished artist, Alex has released over thirty original singles and is a winner of the 2024 International Songwriting Competition in R&B. Alex was the go-to singer and songwriter for The Ellen Show from 2018 to its final season in 2022. His music has been featured on more than fifty television shows, including The Bachelor and The Jennifer Hudson Show, and in the summer of 2025, he appeared as a featured performer on HBO’s The Rehearsal.

As a sought-after saxophonist, Alex has performed with artists such as Camila Cabello, T-Pain, and Brent Faiyaz, and has graced iconic stages including The Troubadour and The Dolby Theatre. His work also extends to the world’s most prestigious private event venues, including The Ritz-Carlton, The Four Seasons, and other elite destinations.

After more than a decade as a top-tier “hired gun,” Alex launched Alex Charles Events, offering refined, top-of-the-line live music experiences for luxury weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Known for his ability to read a room and elevate any atmosphere - whether providing elegant ambiance or engaging guests directly - Alex creates moments that feel personal, elevated, and unforgettable.

After his time in LA, Alex decided it wast time for a change and relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, beginning an exciting new musical chapter while continuing to serve clients nationwide.
